ELITE SUMMER HOCKEY TEAMS 2025 EVENTS

Battle of Buffalo

June 13-15, 2025 | Buffalo, New York (2016-2009)

The Battle of Buffalo is the premier summer hockey event in North America. The event has hosted numerous NHL, Major Jr., and College hockey players over the past decade. Compete against the most elite youth hockey players in North America. The event will include 16U - U8 teams offering Elite and AAA divisions. 


Junior Chowder Cup

July 24-27, 2025 | Boston, MA  (2009 and 2010 Only)

The Chowder Cup is a prestigious hockey tournament held in Massachusetts, organized by New England Pro-Am Hockey, Inc. Held in July, the tournament's format includes a round-robin leading to playoffs, ensuring ample ice time for participants. It's a key event for young hockey players aiming to advance their careers.

Absolutely! We welcome both individual players and small groups. For instance, if four players from the same AAA club team wish to join together, we can certainly accommodate such requests. 

Summer hockey offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills and broaden your network. Players can enjoy meeting peers from various regions, traveling to exciting locations, and facing top-tier competition. Additionally, it provides valuable exposure to coaches and scouts from prestigious prep schools, junior teams, and college hockey programs, helping you make critical connections for your athletic career. 

Our teams primarily consists of AAA-level players, ensuring a high standard of competition and skill development. However, we also welcome high-performing AA players who demonstrate the ability and determination to compete at this level. This inclusive approach allows us to field a strong and dynamic team each summer. 

About Us

American Prep Hockey, founded and operated by Michael Napieralski, delivers an exceptional summer hockey experience. As a native of Rochester, NY, and a former college hockey player at Kent State University, Michael brings a wealth of experience to the program. Serving as the Travel Hockey Director for the Rochester Jr. Americans—the largest youth hockey organization in New York State—for over 10 years, he has honed his skills as both a coach and a leader. Michael's extensive connections within the hockey world, spanning AAA youth teams, junior leagues, prep schools, and college programs, ensure that participants benefit from top-tier competition and exposure opportunities.
